I’ve been keeping a watercolor block and a tiny set of watercolors by the couch recently for doodling purposes.  Here is a selection of quick things I’ve made.  I’ve been keeping a watercolor block and a tiny set of watercolors by the couch recently for doodling purposes.  Here is a selection of quick things I’ve made.

I decided to give a program called Sculptris a try today.  These are the two things I made.  I like the program, it feels super natural.  Now I want to try z brush… I decided to give a program called Sculptris a try today.  These are the two things I made.  I like the program, it feels super natural.  Now I want to try z brush…

I bought a tiny watercolor kit, dusting off cob webs. Moving is terrible for productivity! I bought a tiny watercolor kit, dusting off cob webs. Moving is terrible for productivity!

I moved to Vienna Austria 1.5 weeks ago for the year, so my ability to make art is currently impeded a bit.  So here is a photo of a tree thing from a garden at a palace!

New work coming in the hopefully not distant future.  It will be flavoured with marzipan.

Cleaning up stuff I ran across this unfinished thing.  Which was also sort of turned into this other thing I posted a while back.

Here is my piece for Crazy 4 Cult 7 for Gallery 1988.  The show opens in NYC this Friday.   Check it out if you’re in town.

Acrylic on mounted watercolor paper, based on The NeverEnding Story

I made a pudgy Robocop in the computer.  Poor metal-man always setting off those pesky metal detectors.  Too bad he doesn’t have a prime directive telling him not to walk through them.

This is from the opening of Light Grey Art Lab’s Role Model show.   That’s me doing my best impression of my piece, along with my good friend, and Light Grey owner Lindsay! We’re Fantasy-Faux-Fur-Friends!

Pro-tip: Wrapping yourself head to toe in burlap and fake bear fur is as itchy as you might think.

Also, happy halloween!

This is Lord Elgr of Elkington, my piece for the Light Grey Art Lab Role Model’s show and card game. You can buy prints or cards decks here.

Look at the pink hand glow*!

*You may see another similar fantasy lad with a pink hand elsewhere on this tumblr, that one was from an early concept for this one.

Slashfilm put up a nice preview of Gallery 1988's Say Hi to the Bad Guy show opening tomorrow in LA (you should go)!

This is my piece.  A nice fella from They Live relaxing like a champ.

I did an acrylic demo for a class my friend teaches.  I made this weird Data.  I’ll probably try and finish him up when I get the time.

Here is a blade runner thing I made while working on another project. I kind of liked it
